Disrupting the Cybercrime Ecosystem through Cross-Border Cooperation

As cyber threats evolve, organized cybercrime operates at massive scale across the globe, increasingly overlapping with tactics seen in nation-state operations. While threat intelligence helps uncover how these ecosystems function, real disruption requires coordinated action. This joint session brings together a threat intelligence perspective and an operational view from Europol and its European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) to examine how cross-border investigations and public–private cooperation translate technical insight into real-world disruption. The session will highlight how intelligence, legal authority, and international collaboration combine to counter cybercrime effectively across Europe and beyond.
